The future of blockchain lies with real companies solving real problems in the real world. Brands all over the world want to engage consumers by delivering the right content to the right consumer at the right time in the right place and on the right screen. Yet to do this well, brands need consumers who are better informed and incentivized so they are willing to better engage.

PhunWallet is well-positioned for mainstream adoption because it is leveraging the global reach and capabilities of Phunware. As a publicly-traded company on NASDAQ, Phunware has over 12 years of proven experience working with some of the largest brands in the world. To support Phunware’s blockchain-enabled data exchange and mobile loyalty ecosystem, Phunware has developed PhunWallet to not only manage PhunToken (“PHTK”) and PhunCoin (“PHCN”), but also usher in a new era of contextual engagement that offers consumers more control.

PhunToken is an innovative utility token that seeks to power a new era of consumer engagement that functions similar to a white-labeled rewards program. Consumers can receive PhunToken in return for profitable behavior such as completing surveys, watching videos or checking into specific locations to participate in marketing campaigns. By integrating Phunware’s MaaS Loyalty SDK, brands can use PhunToken to encourage, measure and track consumer engagement by unlocking the features and capabilities available in Phunware’s fully-integrated cloud platform for mobile.

PhunCoin is a regulated security token PhunCoin that will help empower consumers to take control of and be compensated for their data. Consumers will have an opportunity to receive PhunCoin for sharing unique data attributes when that data is purchased by brands for personalized engagement. Developers and publishers will have an opportunity to receive PhunCoin for utilizing Phunware’s MaaS Data SDK designed to onboard their audiences onto Phunware’s blockchain-enabled data exchange. Brands will be able to leverage PhunCoin to gain access to more relevant data and use PhunCoin for their own incentive programs and marketing campaigns.
